Formula & assumptions

Full transparency. This matches computeRoofingCrmRoi in our source exactly.

  • Extra jobs / month = jobsPerMonth × (closeRateLiftPct ÷ 100)
  • Extra revenue / month = extraJobs × avgJobRevenue
  • Admin savings / month = adminHoursSavedPerWeek × (52 ÷ 12) × hourlyCost — using 4.333 weeks/month, not 4, so savings aren't overstated.
  • Gross monthly benefit = extra revenue + admin savings
  • CRM cost / month = $150 base + max(0, seats − 1) × $99 — first seat is included in the base.
  • Net ROI / month = gross benefit − CRM cost; Net ROI / year = × 12.
  • Payback = CRM cost ÷ gross benefit (months), shown as "—" when there is no benefit yet.
  • Default close-rate lift = 5 percentage points, editable and conservative. No competitor performance is claimed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about the numbers behind this tool.

How is the ROI calculated?

We estimate two benefits. First, extra revenue: your jobs per month multiplied by the close-rate lift (default +5 percentage points) times your average job revenue. Second, admin savings: hours saved per week × 4.333 weeks/month × your hourly cost. We subtract the CRM cost ($150/mo base plus $99/mo per additional seat) to get net ROI. The default close-rate lift is deliberately conservative and editable.

Why a 5 percentage-point close-rate lift by default?

It is a conservative planning default, not a guarantee. Faster follow-up and never dropping a claim tend to move close rate by a few points. We keep the default low so the ROI is not overstated — change it to match your own numbers.

How much does Roof Claims CRM cost?

The public pricing is $150/month for the admin/base subscription plus $99/month per additional seat (the first seat is included in the base). A $1 card verification starts a 5-day trial.

Is my data sent anywhere when I use this calculator?

No. The entire calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to our servers. Your inputs are only stored in the page URL if you copy the shareable link.
